Out Of Mind Imaginations (OOMI) is the origin of Jorgen Media and specialized in serving musicians in Houston, TX from 2012 – 2024.
The origins of Out Of Mind Imaginations (OOMI) go back to 1995. In 1999, Ralston was introduced to digital media. He immediately fell in love with this new medium because of the ability to easily alter or undo modifications with the click of a button.
In that year, one of his first designs was selected as a candidate for an upcoming PR campaign for the Conroe Independent School District in Conroe, TX. This campaign was to help promote peace within their schools.
Originally conceptualized as a general design firm, the first years were focused on editing photos, graphics, and marketing solutions.
In 2012, Ralston was asked by friend and fellow musician, R. Jeremy Howard, to photograph his performance at a local gig. Due to the positive results of that show, Ralston was asked again for another performance.
Ralston began regularly attending shows and meeting local acts. This would lead to a network of musicians and creative opportunities.
In 2014, Ralston was recruited by Strength In Shadows to not only provide photos, but to create a music video based upon their upcoming performance at Warped Tour 2014 held at the NRG Stadium in Houston, TX.
On only two hours sleep and a heat wave of 106*F, Ralston met the band in the parking lot and recorded their video handheld with the requested, “Shaky Cam” style. The completed video was delivered that week.
Since then, Ralston has earned a reputable name for his concert photography, lyric videos, and music video production.
Among Ralston’s first connections, he connected with and began working with the local act, Series Six, in 2012. Two years later in 2014, Series Six would later disband, regroup and evolve into what is now, Hold On Hollywood.
Ralston worked as crew as well as the official photographer/videographer for Hold On Hollywood from their official launch in 2015 to 2020. During this time, their experiences together would open doors to performing at major venues, interviews, relationships with radio stations, and national acts.
He still maintains a close friendship and works with them to this day.
